For those who may need sooner assistance outside of our hours, and during breaks, please utilize Uwill, our third-party, online therapy platform, which provides a wide range of availability and unlimited sessions. Uwill is free for Foothill-De Anza Students. 

Winter 2026 Student Intake Deadline Notice

We will stop accepting new students and late intake forms on Friday, March 6th, in order to ensure ample time for previously scheduled appointments. Students may reach out regarding our crisis drop-ins to ensure safety and provide you with additional resources (30 minute appointment). Students may request to be on the Spring waitlist or reach out the first week of the quarter.

Our Services 

We provide up to ten one-on-one individual therapy sessions to registered De Anza students each academic year, from Fall through Spring quarter. Session limits reset every Fall and do not carry over to the following year. During the Summer quarter, students are eligible for up to four individual therapy sessions. For those who may need more than the allotted sessions or are seeking longer-term support, has free access to an online therapy service called Uwill.

Appointments 

The best way to start your individual therapy services with MHWC is to email us at mhwc@deanza.edu 

  • Be sure to include your name, CWID (8-digit Campuswide ID number), your availability for the quarter you're requesting services in, and a short statement that you're requesting our services. 
  • Suzanna, the administrative assistant, will confirm your registration and will release the required intake forms for you to complete. She will provide you with step-by-step instructions. You will find the forms within your MyPortal, in the PyraMED Health Service tile. Once completed, Suzanna will assist you with booking your intake session.
  • Please note you must be and remain registered and enrolled in at least one class throughout the entire quarter to utilize our services.

Location

You are welcome to stop by in person to learn more about our services.  We are available on campus Monday through Thursday, with appointments from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Fridays, we are available remotely via Zoom from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We are located in a small lobby/room 258, in the RSS building, 2nd floor, next to the ISP and Transfer Center.
